Freight that arrives when you were told
General freight, paper products, canned food and light automotive parts hauled across Canada and the United States — on contract lanes and spot-market runs.
A Bolton carrier that treats a delivery date as a promise.
Evergreen Transport Inc. is a trucking carrier based on Commercial Road in Bolton, Ontario, moving freight for customers across Canada and the United States.
We specialize in a defined set of commodities rather than claiming to haul everything. That focus is deliberate: our drivers and dispatch already know how this freight loads, how it weighs out, and what a receiver expects when the doors open.
Work comes to us two ways — committed contract lanes for customers who ship the same freight every week, and spot-market loads when somebody needs a truck at short notice. Both get the same planning before the wheels turn.
Four commodities we know inside out.
We stay close to the freight we handle every day. That means loading practices, weight distribution and transit times our drivers and dispatch already have down.
General Freight
Palletized and mixed dry loads moved on contract lanes or picked up from the spot market when capacity is tight.
View service → 02 / PPRPaper Products
Rolls, cartons and converted paper handled with the load securement and dry-trailer discipline the commodity demands.
View service → 03 / CANCanned Food
Heavy, dense grocery freight loaded and blocked for weight compliance across every jurisdiction on the route.
View service → 04 / AUTLight Automotive Parts
Time-sensitive parts freight for production and aftermarket customers, dispatched around the delivery window.
View service →Contract lanes or spot loads — same planning either way.
Some customers need capacity they can build a schedule around. Others need a truck this afternoon. We do both, and neither gets treated as the exception.
Contract freight
Committed capacity on lanes you run week after week, with rates and transit times you can plan around.
Spot market
A truck for the load in front of you, quoted quickly, without pretending a timeline is possible when it is not.
Paperwork ready before the truck reaches the booth.
We operate to the transportation regulations that apply in both Canada and the United States. Documentation, driver hours and equipment condition are checked before a load leaves, not after a truck is turned back.
Four steps, one point of contact.
Quote
Send us the lane, commodity and window. You get a rate and a realistic transit time — not an optimistic one.
Plan
Dispatch builds the route around hours of service, border timing and your receiving schedule.
Move
The truck is loaded, secured and documented. Dispatch tracks it and calls you before you have to call us.
Deliver
Freight is delivered on the appointment, paperwork returned, and the equipment is turned for the next run.
Six reasons a load comes back to us.
None of them are complicated. Most carriers say them. Fewer run their yard that way.
Safety is enforced, not posted
Driver safety protocols and pre-trip inspections happen before the truck moves, every run, not when an audit is due.
Compliance in both countries
We adhere to applicable transportation regulations in Canada and the United States, including cross-border documentation requirements.
Routes planned, not improvised
Hours of service, border timing and receiving windows go into the schedule before a truck is assigned to the load.
You hear about it first
If something threatens a delivery date, dispatch calls you. You should never have to phone us asking where a truck is.
Equipment kept in order
Maintenance is scheduled work. Well-kept trucks are the cheapest insurance a delivery date can have.
Positioned for the corridor
Our Bolton terminal sits close to the routes feeding the Greater Toronto Area and the crossings south of it.
Canada and the United States.
Domestic Canadian lanes and cross-border runs into the US, on contract or spot. Tell us the lane and we will tell you honestly whether it suits our equipment and our schedule.
Across Canada
Freight moved within Canada from our Bolton, Ontario base, planned around receiving windows and driver hours.
Into the United States
Southbound and northbound runs with customs documentation prepared and verified before the crossing.
Contract or spot
Committed lanes for regular shippers, spot capacity when a load needs a truck at short notice.
Tractors and trailers kept in running order.
Maintenance and inspection are scheduled work, not a reaction to a breakdown. Well-kept equipment is the cheapest way to protect a delivery date.
Tractor unit
Highway tractors
Inspected before every run and serviced on schedule so a breakdown never becomes your delivery problem.
Dry van trailer
Dry van trailers
Checked for a dry floor and sound doors before loading — the difference between clean freight and a claim.
On the road
Out on the lane
Tracked by dispatch from pickup to delivery, with hours of service and border timing built into the run.
Questions we get asked most.
What kind of freight do you haul?
General freight, paper products, canned food and light automotive parts. We deliberately keep to commodities our drivers and dispatch handle regularly rather than claiming to move everything.
Do you run into the United States?
Yes. Cross-border freight between Canada and the United States is a regular part of our work, and we operate to the transportation regulations that apply in both countries.
Do I need a contract to use Evergreen?
No. We run committed contract lanes for regular customers and also take single loads off the spot market. A one-off load gets the same planning as a contract run.
How do I get a rate?
Call dispatch at 905.699.5000 or send the details through the contact page. The more you can tell us about the lane, the weight and the delivery appointment, the faster the answer comes back.
Will you tell me if a load is running late?
Yes, and before you have to ask. Dispatch tracks loads in transit and contacts you as soon as something threatens the delivery date.
Where are you based?
124 Commercial Road in Bolton, Ontario — close to the routes serving the Greater Toronto Area and the border crossings south of it.
Looking for a seat, not a load?
We are hiring company drivers and owner operators for Canadian and cross-border runs out of Bolton. Good equipment, planned routes, and dispatch that answers the phone.
Every load we accept is a promise about a date and a time. Safety, compliance and route planning are simply how we keep it.
